Terms of Service
Effective date: July 8, 2026
These terms govern your use of the services provided by Trades On Top ("we," "us"), a New York City–based sole proprietorship that manages Google Business Profiles for home service contractors. 1. The Service
We provide done-for-you Google Business Profile (GBP) management. This includes:
- Initial setup & optimization (included in your first month): profile creation or takeover, category and service-area configuration, business description, photo uploads, and keyword strategy.
- Ongoing monthly management: weekly profile posts and updates, photo management, review monitoring and response guidance, and a monthly performance report.
2. Pricing & Billing
Our service is billed as a monthly subscription:
- First month: $750 — includes the complete initial setup and optimization plus your first month of management.
- Every month after: $300/month, billed automatically on your billing date.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. Prices may change with at least 30 days' written notice; changes never apply retroactively.
3. Cancellation Policy
We ask for an initial commitment of 90 days, because Google Maps rankings take time to move and we invest heavily in your profile up front. After the first 90 days, you can cancel anytime — no long-term contract, no cancellation fee.
To cancel, email hello@tradesontop.com from the email address on your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep the service through the period you've already paid for. Your Google Business Profile always remains yours — we never hold it hostage.
4. Refund Policy
First month ($750): fully refundable if you cancel before we begin setup work on your profile. Once setup work has started, the first-month fee is non-refundable, because the work it covers is front-loaded and already delivered.
Monthly fees ($300): non-refundable once a billing period has begun. Cancel before your renewal date and you simply won't be charged again.
Billing errors: if we ever charge you incorrectly, tell us and we'll refund the difference in full, promptly.

5. What We Need From You
To do our job, we need timely cooperation: access to (or authority over) your Google Business Profile, accurate business information, and photos or details when we request them. Delays on your side may delay results, but do not pause billing.
6. No Guarantees of Specific Results
We use proven, policy-compliant practices to improve your Google Maps presence, and we report results transparently every month. However, Google's ranking systems are outside anyone's control, and we do not guarantee specific rankings, placement in the 3-Pack, call volumes, or revenue outcomes. Anyone who guarantees you #1 on Google is lying to you.
7. Honest-Work Policy
We only use practices permitted by Google's guidelines. We will not create fake reviews, post misleading business information, or engage in tactics that put your profile at risk of suspension. We may decline or terminate service (with a prorated refund of any unused period) if asked to do otherwise, or if your business information is inaccurate.
8. Content & Ownership
Your Google Business Profile, your business information, and your photos remain yours. Content we create for your profile (posts, descriptions) becomes yours once the period covering it has been paid for.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three (3) months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for actions taken by Google (including profile suspensions not caused by our work).
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active clients at least 30 days before taking effect. The current version always lives at tradesontop.com/terms.
